If you have not read my last 3 blog posts from My Interview to Medical Check Up and lastly, GOLDEN CALL from SIA, click on the links below to check them out 😉
Let's go straight to the point of this post.
What happen after my GOLDEN CALL from SIA in 2016.
PS: Its been quite sometimes since the day I got the call so I will do my best try to remember whatever I can. Some of the details I shared maybe will be a little different by now.
After the interview, i'm pretty sure you will be automatically joined into a group chat when everyone start to share who get the golden call, some needs to go back for a further medical check up, everyone is nervous yet excited, some worried etc..
If you received the call on the same day with some of them, you all will be in the same batch 😁
That's when you start to do some research on which/where to look for a place. Either you share with your new batch mates-to-be, or your whoever uncle aunty sister brother friend's house, or rent alone with house owner, or rent it with outsider, or rent with other airlines crew, whatever you like, as long as you are happy 😂
Next, SQ HR will email you the forms to be completed, sign and scan it back to them asap. Some documents you've signed and printed out need to bring it along with you to Singapore. After that, set a date with the HR (Singapore Airlines Office at Kuala Lumpur) to sign your contract with some of the colleague-to-be 😀 and you have to bring one of your parent there too.
They will send you another email to bring your personal documents means your birth cert, parents' birth cert, education cert and etc.
A little heads up, please have a checklist what to bring/prepare/print/sign before you come to SG because in SG is not quite easy to find a printing shop so please prepare everything at home.
Your flight ticket to Singapore will be provided by SQ and a week of hotel just near the airport (not sure whether got any changes on the hotel I stayed before).
For that one week just before your training starts, not for you to go bar, drink, eat, sleep, chillax ya.. this is the week for you guys to look for a place to rent, move in, settle in before your training.

You will share a room with your batch girl-to-be or you are lucky enough, you have a room all by yourself.
This hotel I stayed was convenient. Next to it was a mall so you can have your 3 meals there (hotel don't provide you breakfast ya)
If you are bored with the food there, MRT just right behind the hotel. You can go Pasir Ris/Tampines or Airport (your future office 😂) Nice airport indeed and tons of food to choose.
Within that week, one of the day, you will need to wear formal? (most probably formal) to STC = Singapore Airlines Training Centre to meet with SQ HR to pass them your personal documents, your contract documents and etc. Please drop down what she/he needs you to do before your training date. OH YA! please bring a laptop with you cause you may need it. You need to complete some modules before the training starts.

Post 121: Updated - SIA Medical Check Up
PS: This blog will be a little TMI, so if you feel disgusted or annoyed, you may skip this blog :) This is an updated blog about my SIA Medical Check Up. I was praying so hard, worried and excited at the same time for my Medical Check Up. As I've mentioned in my SIA Cabin Crew Interview , I will be doing my Medical Check Up on the 1st November 2016 (Tuesday). Unfortunately, 'time of the month' is here:( not exactly on Tuesday. It came on Saturday. I kept on thinking for few days before my medical check up, was worried whether does it affect my medical check up? Should I extend to the following week? Should I call the clinic? I have no idea what to do. On monday, I asked my mom about it. She said "Oh, yes, it does affect." I'm like "ok.. can you call the clinic for me?" I wasn't convenient to call the clinic because I was in the office. So mom help to call for me. The clinic told my mom that is better to extend my Medical ...
Post 119: SIA Cabin Crew @ Renaissance Hotel, Kuala Lumpur_Part 1
Hi Readers! This blog will be full of WORDS! No photos:) Know why? YES, I'm talking about SIA Cabin Crew job recruitment in Malaysia. I decided to blog about it before I lost my memory (hahah) As you know that Singapore Airline is a top leading airline in the world. SIA is the best choice for me to step out from my comfort zone that's why I tried to go for the interview. I wasn't aware about this cabin crew job at all, I heard it from my sister because she is planning to go for the interview so I was like thinking why not I give it a try as well right? Before I start elaborating on my story, I would like to share with you about myself. Few years back, I wanted to join SIA Cabin Crew team or maybe MAS Airline but during that time I wasn't ready to step out from my comfort zone and from my family, my home. Also, I actually went to do some research on the SIA Cabin Crew interviews from other candidates, whom went for the interview and blogged about it, I felt wo...
